I have really run into the problem of stolen ancestors on ancestry.com and blame inexperienced people and those darn you have a match leaves. Some people don't check dates or locations and just willy nilly add people with the right names to their trees. My husband's grandmother and my sister's father-in-law have been hijacked to other trees and I have had soome very nasty responses from people whom I try to correct. some people do appreciate the corrections but not always.
