Hello, you posted an interesting query. Given the relative years of birth, are Mary Ola Phillips and Charles Kelly Hill perhaps your grandparents? I am pretty sure they are not related to my line, but I went looking and I believe that I found them in the 1940 U.S. Census, in Iowa.

Do you know the names of their children? If they were in Iowa in 1940, did they perhaps move to another state prior to death? With more information, perhaps a clue could be found as to where and when they died?
