Mrs Philpot of Yiewsley Middlesex

I am trying to find out about a 'Philpot' family from Yiewlsey, Middlesex. My great grandmother, Lucy Smith, was taken in by a Mrs Philpot after her mother died of 'dropsie' in about 1904 when she was about 10 years of age. Mrs Philpott had a large family and we believe she had taken several other children into her care too. We recall that there may have been a daughter, Edith, whom my great gran was very close too. I have also just found a photo which claims one of the sitters to be 'Bettsy Mrs Philpot'.
