Dear Katherine,

It does not appear that she is related to my family of Philpots. However this is what I found and I hope it help.
I found that Edith name is sometime spelled with one t and sometimes 2 t. I also found that there is another birthdate for her of 9/23/1740 Rowan county, NC and a possible death date of 1824 Rowan County, NC.
First Husband:
I found that Isaac Wilcoxson also spelled Willcockson was born in 1724 in PA. He and Edith had at least three children.
1. Rachel b. 2/26/1760 NC
2. Catherine b. 2/14/1762 NC
3. Aaron b. 6/11/1764 NC

Second Husband:
I found that Matthew Busey was born 4/9/1742 Baltimore, MD and died 1/2/1824 Shelby County, KY. He and Edith had about 9 or 10 children.
1. Samuel Wales b. 1760 d. 11/13/1845 IN
2. Isaac b. 9/9/1769 d. 1/11/1847 IL
3. John b. 7/17/1771 d. 7/25/1863 KY
4. Mary b. 4/7/1773 or 1777
5. Charles b. 9/10/1775 d. IL
6. Matthew b. 3/11/1779 d. 1864 IL
7. Edith b. 3/11/1779
8. Sarah Elizabeth b. 5/15/1782 d. 12/1/1849 TN
9. Jacob b. 2/14/1784 d. 1869
10. John b. 8/3/1797 d. 1839

All of them were born in NC. Mary was listed two time, one with the 1773 DOB and the other with the 1777 DOB. I don't know if that mean that they had two children named Mary because one died or it was listed wrong so they added Mary again the the other DOB. It the same with John. This might be a mistake as each John was listed with different wifes.
