Dear David,
I found a William A. Philpot with his wife Estella in the 1930 Census in Madison, AL.. His est DOB was 1902 he was 28 years of age and listed as a farmer born in TN. They listed his father as born in US and mother as born in TN. It also indicated that he was married at 24 years of age. Estella is listed as 20 years old. Married at 16. She is listed as being born in AL as well as her father and mother. They have 2 children at this point, a William A. Jr who is 3 and a Julia K. who is 1. Check the 1920 Census in AL to find out the parents of William and Estella.
