This information is sketchy, as my grandmother Lily died when I was 3. She was married to a Lewis Roebuck, who I never knew. My mother was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne England on July 20, 1924.

Lily had a brother named Walter who worked at 10 Downing for many years. He was posted to Washington D.C. during WWII where he met a woman named Rita & married her. He's deceased now, but he had at least 1 child - a son who is an architect in or near London.

Their family came to England from the Scottish Highlands. I remember my mother telling me that once Walter's uncle met him at a train station in full Highland regalia & played the bagpipes to welcome him back from the U.S.

I know that this is sketchy information at best, but I'd appreciate *any* information about the Phimister name or my relatives.
