I just found
Phimestar & Pheemister in a Will of 1772

All the same family but looks like the local priest to differentiate between the branches allocated each family a different spelling
Pheemister for the senior family
Phimister for one son & Fimister for the other son.

All over the same time frame of a decade in the old parish records.
Yet they are all related as proven by the will.
