Info on two Phipps reunions has been posted in the Phipps Genealogy blog. One is in Dickenson County, Virginia July 21: http://phippsgenealogy.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/dickenson-county-virginia-phipps-reunion-2/

The Grayson County reunion is for descendants of three of the "seven brothers" associated with Grayson County, Virginia and Ashe County, North Carolina: Samuel, Ben, and Isaiah. The Dickenson County reunion is intended for descendants of Andrew Phipps, descendant of Samuel Phipps; Andrew's great-grandfather was David Cox Phipps who arrived in Dickenson County about 1850.
