The Phy family is my brick wall..After many years I've found very little.
Harvey Phy b abt 1891 OK married Hester Billington. Her history is in print and has lots of info on her and her 2nd marriage to Charles J. Ware and her 3rd marriage to Eugene Killion.
Hester and Harvey are listed in the 1910 census of Kiowa Co., OK. She is 15 yrs old and Harvey is farming in the area of Godebo, OK. Living near them in is a Charlie Phy age 29. It isn't known how he is related. In the 1910 census they are living in town (Hobart) and Harvey is employed as a barber.
Harvey is a brother of Ben and Marion Francis and Susy Phy. Marion has birthplace as Collin Co., TX. His wife was Maggie Mace. Ben married Lizzie Bea Bingham and Susy married a Laird. There could be other siblings.
Harvey and Hester Phy had 4 children.
1. Velma b abt 1911, OK marr O.B. Sullivan, They had 2 children. Lived Borger, TX.
2. Travis b abt 1914, OK., married Leatice. Travis was a welder and is buried in the Sappington Cem at Alfalfa, OK.
3. Edwin Gale b 12 May 1918, Godebo, OK. marr Mary Elizabeth Brown. aaaalived TX. They had son, Edwin Gale, jr., b 14 May 1944 San Angelo, TX., marr Rebecca Charlene Durham. They had 2 sons, Timothy Sean Phy and Michael Pierre Phy.
4. Juanita marr Fred Tinsley.
