I think perhaps I have found a possible link to my Phy family. On the Soundex of Collin Co, TX. there is Daniel H. Phy 46 yrs old, b TN. wife, Mary J. and children,
1. Charly
2. James
3. Hester
4. Susie
In comparing different records, SSDI, General Birth records, Billington Family Book, and census records, I see the children listed are at least 3 that are matches.
1st..Daniel H. could be Daniel Hilery Phy and Mary J. could be Mary J. "Mollie" Lear (Liery?). A D.H. Phy died at Fayburg, TX. of consumptionin Collin Co. TX. I hve found Charlie W. Phy and Sadie D. Phy buried in the Cem at Godebo Cem, Kiowa Co., OK. (This is in the area of Oklahoma where my Phy's lived.
James Phy is one I can't find.
My Uncle Ben had sister's Hester marr Joe Evans, and Susie who marr Will Laird. The children not on the list would be the boys Ben (My uncle), Marion Francis marr Mollie Mace, and Harvey Phy married Hester Billington of Collin Co., TX.
It all fitts my line and I hope someone knows more of this family??? Ihave battled hard for this family. Any ideas?
