It seems that you have a lot of information on the Paille family. I have been told that the Payea family could be a branch of this family. I have been looking for information about Louis Edouard Payea who was born in the early 1800s in or around Montreal, and married Marcelline Tessier, and moved to Dannemora, NY, then on to Vermont. If Paille became Paye/Payea, and he's some one you have information about, I would appreciate anything you can tell me.
