Still in search of..... William & Margaret Pickens

William H. Pickens, (the 'H' could be for Henry) was born in Ohio about 1828. In 1850 He was on the census in Noble Twp, Noble Co., Indiana with 17 year old Margaret Ann, his wife. He was listed as a laborer and a pauper. Margaret Ann was born about 1833 in Ohio.

They were found in Leesburg, Plain Twp., Kosciusko, Indiana in the 1860 census, along with Mary, age 7 and Henry, age 2. William is a day laborer with a personal estate valued at $75.00.

Margaret is found in Warsaw, Kosciusko, Indiana in 1870 with just three of their four known children. Mary who would be age 17 is gone, (did she marry or did she die?)
Henry, age 12, Delzina, age 6 and an 11 month old female who's name is not readable, are the only ones with her.
Is William dead, or could they be divorced? Either way it took place within the last 2 years before 1870.

I found Margaret, remarried to James Wattlesworth, a shoemaker, in Warsaw Indiana in 1880. There was, (Della,) Delzina, who married that year to Alzie H. Spicer (my G-Grandparents) and Bessie, a new child by James.

I have never been able to find out who William's parents are or Margarets maiden name or what happened to William & their daughter Mary.

Any help in this would be very much appreciated as I have been searching for these people for about ten years and it's getting frustrating.

Reese Spicer
