Wilbra Pickernell

I am just starting to trace my wife's family history. Here's a list of ancestors that I have so far: Wilbra Henry Pickernell 1903-1957, Robert Edward Pickernell 1879-1903, Winsor Angell Pickernell 1848-?. I found a Wilbra Pickernell, civil war veteran on the web from Tremont, IL buried in Mound City, IL in 1862. Since Wilbra is not a common name, I think he is most likely a relative but haven't found a connection yet. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
