I'm not sure about your George Washington Pickle, however, I have a lot of Pickle information on Pickle's in Lancaster County, PA. I am also trying to track down someone from AL who might know a S. Fowler. SHe posted a message in 1998 concerning her neice who had in her posession a diary that belonged to Uriah Pickle. The diary was written by his brother David who was killed in the battle of Gettysburg. She wanted to know more about the family and I have info to share. Their father was Adam Pickle. At the time of the outbreak of the CIvil war the fami8ly lived in Phoenixville, PA. They originated in Lancaster County. If you think there is a connection or if you know who I am referring to you may contact me at kehess@desupernet.net
