The only geographic item I have on the Pickels in my wife's line is that Catherine married George Schryver who was born in Philadelphia.
But there's also circumstantial evidence linking both these families to the Hudson Valley, I think. The ended up in the area of Adolphustown and Bath, Ontario, Canada alongside many Hudson (Germantown) and Mohawk (Stone Arabia) valley, NY, German families who were Am. Rev. Loyalists. Most of those were Palatine Germans. Many of these returned to the New York in the late 1800s and settled in the Lawrence River Valley, particularly, at least in my wife's family, at Cape Vincent, NY.
