Hello, I am looking for information regarding loyalist John Pickle b. abt 1738. John fought for the King's Rangers. His children were born in Claverack NY.Jacob, b.1757 settled in Brome Co. Qc. Several of John's children settled there.I have much information on this line, however I would like to trace Loyalist John's roots. He states as having been from NY state ,Hudson Valley area, Albany? just prior to removing to Qc. Land Grantee in Brome Qc. in 1802. Arrived in Qc. circa 1783. He lived for a time in Alburg Vt. - 1791 census.
Did John marry a Catherine Church? Where is John buried? Is he somehow connected to the Montgomery NY Pickle's? Stone Arabia Pickle's?
Many thanks,
Eric Pickel, Qc.
