You are an angel Marietta, thank you !!
I have been searching for a link between Catherine Church and Loyalist John Pickle(b. abt 1738) for sooo long. I believe they were married. There is a 'Catherine' 'wife of John Pickle' buried here in The Eastern Townships of Quebec. Her last name is not on the gravestone yet the dates make sense & this burial was witnessed by two 'Church' family members. The Church and Pickle families were very close, and it is my belief that this Catherines' surname may well have been Church, or Shertz.
All leads are welcome !!!!
Where's my John Pickle buried? !!!Did he go back to NY? Perhaps he drowned and there is no gravestone?
Thanks again!!
Eric Pickel, Qc.
