I think the Katherine you are referring to is, as i have her, Catherine b. Dec. 3, 1835. Here father Jacob Joseph
Pickle b.1804 and mother Judith W. Scovill b. 1812. I show 9 children including Catherine.
Jacob Joseph from Brome Qc. d. 1864 in Scugog Island, Ontario. notes on Jacob:
-' The Pickle family moved to Michigan after Jacob's death in 1864. The 1870 Census shows them in Ferry Township of Oceana county, while the 1884 census identifies John & William in Lincoln and Dayton townships of Newago County.'
I show Jacob as having been a son to Christopher Pickle b.1766 and Marinda Sweet.Christopher's father was, it is believed either Loyalist John Pickle b. 1738, or his cousin/brother Thomas Pickle b. abt 1737.

Judith's parents were Stephen Scovill b.1783 d. 1869 and Rebecca Judith Gilman b. 1782 d.1870.
8 children including Judith.
Judith had a sister Mary Scovill b.1806 who married Thomas Pickle b.1804-7. Thomas was the brother of Jacob Joseph. So two brothers married two sisters.

Most of my information regarding this Scovill clan came to me from a very helpful and informed Eugene Pickel (Gene).

Hope this helps!

Eric Pickel
