Dear Barb., I have a feeling we're related some where down the line my gt. gt. gt. gt. gt. grand-father was Peter Pickle who had a brother Henry among others. They were from NY.Henry born 1786 and eventually moved to Menomenee. Wisconsin in the 1840's. I know he had a son named Henry b. abt.1836 also Dewitt b.abt.1834 and others. I'm not sure if this is the same family as yours or not or if some of his other brothers went west with him. I have a lot of information on the Pickle family from NY that started in Stone Arabia. I know Henry's neice (Peter's daughter) also ended up in WI. married to John Conderman. Mansuette, Lancelette and Henry all served in the Civil War. If you need any other information or would like to share ideas please feel free to contact me.
