MINNIE E. 2 b.1- -1878 Mich. N.Y. Can. Died 1950 *Minnie was a diabetic and ended up having her legs amputated due to complications from her diabetes. Minnie married ELMER C. HEDGES.
Elizabeth was sister to Thomas G. Pickel.

Thomas had a daughter Nellie Pickel and she married John N.Baxter
Obituary……born November 21, 1883, died Feb. 29, 1944
BAXTER, JOHN N. husband of Nellie Pickle……died at the Shelby Hospital on Feb. 29 as the result of injuries received in an Auto accident which occurred a mile and a half north west of Montague on Feb. 6.
He was born on November 21, 1883 in Blue Lake Township and married Miss Nellie I. Pickle in Ferry in 1905. *(Nellie died July 14, 1936 in Crystal twp., Oceana County, Michigan, burried in Ferry Cemetery.)
He is survived by 3 sons: Pvt. Raymond of Fort Seburt, Alabama, Sgt. John Clifford of Sulpher Spring, West Virg. And Sheldon of Fremont…….nine daughters: Mrs. Vernon Shanaf of Muskegon, Mrs. Doyle Lepree, Mrs. Eldon Moon, Mrs. Archie Burmeister and Mrs. Orville Richardson of Montague, Mrs. Russell Baron and Mrs. Ernest Frees of Ferry and Miss Dorothy Baxter and Mrs. James Bartlett of White River………two sisters: Mrs. Leonard Ward of Battle Creek and Mrs. Mary Harris of Spokane, Washington……four brother: Ben of Muskegon, Charles, Dan and Thomas of Ferry……..John was burried in Ferry Cemetery.
