I wanted to send a special thank you for posting this. I am the granddaughter of Lucy Estell Pickle (Woodward). Her son, Fred Woodward, (my father) passed away about a year and a half ago and I am becoming more and more interested in my father's ancestry.
I knew of my great-grandfather Thomas' "vitality" and the fact that he had 20 children, the last one born being my grandmother. But I had never heard how he lived or died and the obituary was a real find. Thanks again. If you have any information on my great-grandmother - V. C. Pickle please let me know.
Again, thanks for posting this.
Kelley Norman
