Hi Tad,
Sorry this took so long...I took an extended break from genealogy to add a couple more to the line.... :)
Some have said that Elizabeth Pickle may have been the child of Thomas Pickle(Pechtel,Pickel) , believed to be a cousin or brother to Loyalist John Pickle . b. abt 1738.
notes: Thomas was at Claverack, N.Y. in 1755/1757 period. He is mentioned in the Claverack Reformed Church book.
We know that John Jr. & Mary New were also at Claverack.
I have lots of info on this Thomas's line.
My 'Thomas' info came kindly from Eugene Pickel
who had done a lot of research, including, going to Claverack and stomping around cemetaries and checking Church records. Gene helped compile the Ontario Pickel(ell) line considerably. Hat's off to Gene.
Tad, I think we never exchanged any information before.
I'd love to share what we have.

Best of luck, Eric Pickel, Qc.
