I have heard of you Pansy from my cousin . He told me you had information about the Pickeral family of Pittsvania Co. VA. My Great Grandfather was Ferdinand Pickeral, father of Allie Jackson Pickeral (el) He married (Ferd) Susan. They are listed in the 1880 Federal Census as living in Bannister, Pitsylvania, Virginia, He was a farmer. The 1900 Census has him living in Chatham, Pittsylvania, Virginia. He listed Alley Pickerel, which would be my grandfather, Allie J Pickerel (al) who married Elvira Tensie Glenn. On the 1910 census they list 3 living children. On November 4, 1911, my mother was born to Allie and Elvira.
I am looking for information on this family as well as the Nathan Glenn family. If informtion is available please let me know. Thanks Linda
