Update: I have found that my ggrandmother Sophronia/Sephrona Pickron b:ABT 1837, was married to James E Pickron b:ABT 1835. James's father and mother was Elijah Pickron b: ABT 1800 and Lavisy ?? (I would love to have her madien name) b: ABT 1880 (info per 1860 census, Mitchell Co., GA.
In the 1860 census the children of Elijah and Lavisy Pickron living at home were:
Algien Pickron b: ABT 1828
James E Pickron b: ABT 1836
Jacob Pickron b: ABT 1842
John F. Pickron b: ABT 1844
Lucy Pickron b: 1849
Per another researchers work I found there were addtional children (they did not list their source); due to their birthdates I can assume they were married (or had died) in 1860 and not living at home with their parents:
Amanda Pickron b: ABT 1836
Sarah Pickron b: 1836
Matilda Pickron b: 1843
