Hi
Thanks for the message but the John I'm looking for is the son of Job Pickstock, a ship carpenter supposedly born in Davenham. Job himself would have been born around 1800. Sometime later he moved to Wharton and lived in Gravel Lane.
Haven't managed to get beyond that though!
