Rita, both Bea and I have a good deal of info on the Pidcock family. We branch from Horatio and Ann Pidcock. Bea's ancestor is Ira B. and mine is Baker, both sons of Horatio & Ann. According to posting by Doelph Pitcock, Horatio was probably born to William & Roseannah Baker Pitcock possibly in NJ. Baker and Ira were born in KY. Baker married Nancy Branson in KY. Horatio died in Todd Co KY and Ann accompanied her sons Ira & Baker to Crawford Co MO where most of their children were born - however our Baker & Nancy moved to AR between 1840 & 1860 and were located in Washington Co AR in 1860 & 1870. Our Florence Mae was born in AR 1857. Jason Carroll was born in MO and was 6 years old according to the 1860 Wash. Co AR Census. Baker either died in AR or sometime after they moved to TX, because he is not with the family in the 1880 Collin Co TX census. We are still doing research on this family. bebedale@earthlink.net
