I have been researching men who worked for Vickers Steelworks in Sheffield England and fell in the Great War 1914-18. The result of this research and details about Frederick Pidcock and his family can be found on http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/

Can anybody tell me more about Frederick or his family. He was a member of the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. I'd really like to know what his job was in the Steelworks. Also I'd like to know his mothers maiden name. Any additional information would be great.

I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks in advance.

Robert.
