Hello Cousins, Well, they say if you hunt long enough you will find a horse thief back in your ancesters. I did! In the Mercer Musuem in Doylestown Pa. is the most wonderful resources in US. Ap 15, 1722 Emanuel Pidcock was charged with, stealing a gelding from a Thomas Shott. In June he was found guilty. This is in early Bucks Co. Court Docket, P 22-. It says he was a laborer from Makefield Twp. Also, Sarah Duffield was charged with adultry with a Stephen Pidcock. Naughty cousin! He was charged too. On 13 Sept 1745 a Benjamin was in court. A Elizabeth Pidcock wife of a Benj eas in court for assault on another lady. I wished I could have stayed longer there in the library but when you travel time is precious. Any way these are early Pidcocks. My ancester Thomas was born in 1794 in Bucks. Nancy
