Hello Graham. I'm doing a one-name study of the Pidcock family. Ernest J PIDCOCK b.1924 had 2 brothers, Edward R. b.1930 and Gordon D.B. b.1933, and 3 sisters Phyllis N. b.1922, Ada J. b.1926 and Marjorie V. b.1927. Their father was Herbert PIDCOCK b.1886, d.1962, married to ? JACKSON 1917. I do not have any details of Herberts's parents as I haven't yet searched the 1891 census for Belper but maybe when the 1901 census comes on line !!! I will find them. There are five cousins of your father, probably all still living, and I have an address for one of them for 1998-2000, and also for their father Edward R.
If you email me privately at margaret@burghwallis.fsnet.co.uk I will send you all the details I have.
