My great grandfather came here from Ropa, Gorlice, Poland when he was in his mid 20's. He came to Pennsylvania.
Victor Valentine
His name was Walanto, U.S. immigration changed it to Valentine. 1859-1938.I posted info from his birth certificate on Poland message board. They told me this:

Victor's (Wiktor in Polish) parents were:
His father wasThomas (in Latin) Tomasz (in Polish) Walanto
His mother was Marianna Walanto, daughter of Joannais (Jan) Piechowicz and Constantine Piechowicz. (In my family they wrote Marianna's last name was Lidowska.
Godparents (patrini) were:
Paulus (Pawel) Piechowicz
Marriana Mathias?

Victor married Maria Victoria Sczenseny. Her father was Yacobus Sczenseny and Victoria Wilisinsky.
