Hello. i am wondering if the PIENSKI Surname could possibly have been shortened from something, or a different spelling varient of my surname of PINSKEY. I am just beginning to work on my husband's surname, & iam wondering if this name is possibly connected. My Husband's grandfather was ALEXANDER PINSKEY & we are told it was ALEXANDER that shortened the Pinskey name from it's origional spelling of: PIERZYNSKI
would very much like to hear from anyone that may know. i am researching quite a few names, & don't get into the GEN forum very often, so if you think there may be a connection, PLEASE E-mail me @ thanks, twana
