I have Piepers in my line as well. Henry, Theresa, and Catherine came to America from Prussia through Wisconsin. I know that Catherine married my gg-grandfather in Burlington, Racine Co., Wisconsin. This is south and slightly east of Watertown and Columbus. After marrying they moved to Festina, Winneshiek Co., Ia. Catherine's mother, Elizabeth Peeper (as spelled in the 1860 census) was living with them in 1860. Thesresa Pieper was born at sea during the trip over. She married a Joe Hoverstadt (Hoverstedt). They had another sister who married a Merrick, but I have no idea what her first name is. In all there were 9 children when they arrived in Wi. Perhaps these are part of your Pieper family.
