My name is Patrick Neil Pieper, father of Daniel K Pieper mentioned above. I am one of 4 children of Van and A Florene Pieper. I have one brother, J Keith Pieper and sisters Lynn M Wright and A Renee Morgan. Keith is living in northern Iowa, Lynn is living in Des Moines and Renee is living in Texas. Father Van, born Venantius William Pieper of Dodge Nebraska. He had 5 brothers and 2 sisters, the brothers from oldest to youngest is Alwin, born 1919, Venantius born 1921, Germaine 1922, Gene born 1924, Minard 1927, Allen 1929, Art 1932. Sisters Imelda born 1926, Imogene born 1928. All born in Dodge. Their father was Joseph and mother was Mary GrosseRhode of Howells Ne. before marriage 1916 in Olean, a community outside Dodge that no longer exists. Father, Joseph, was 1 of 7 children. 5 sons and 2 daughters. Names William born about 1889, Joseph born 1890, Theodore born 1892, Conrad born 1894, Dorothy born 1895 one sister ??? and Anthony born 1900. Their Father Bernard born ab1866 in Dodge ne. His Father was ??? was born maybe Illinois. He had one brother that was traveling west with him. They became seperated around Kansas City and never saw one another again. One brother settled in Dodge Nebraska. The other brother settled in the area of Atlantic to Stuart Iowa. My great Great grandfather and his wife were married probably in Illinois and made homestead on 160 acres about 3 miles outside Dodge nebraska.
