Their are 2 branches of the family that I am aware of. The Iowa branch that settled from Stuart to Atlantic and the Nebraska branch that settled in Dodge Ne. I am from the Nebraska branch. As best I can figure, August was my Great great grandfather, born arond the civil war, brother. The homesteaded about the same time. you can read my posts above for more information.
