Deceased Name: Barbara A. Pieper
CYPRESS, Texas - Barbara Ann Pieper, 62, of Cypress, formerly of Springfield, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Triumph Hospital in Tomball, Texas.

She was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of Robert H. and Anna Marie Sansone Reed. She married Grantley Pieper in 1963 in Decatur.

Mrs. Pieper graduated from St. Theresa High School in Decatur in 1962. She was a member of Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church in Houston.

Survivors: husband, Grantley; two sons, Jeffrey Robert (wife, Lisa) Pieper of Springboro, Ohio and Steven Harold Pieper of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; parents, Robert and Anna Marie Reed of Summerfield, Fla.; three sisters, Madonna Ann Hilker of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., Elizabeth (husband, Barry) Bowers of Sinking Springs, Pa., and Theresa Ozse of Harvard; brother, Timothy (wife, Helen) Reed of Woodridge; an uncle; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. J. Michael Ewert, OFM officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.

Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
