Many of my ancestors first lived in Illinois before coming to Kansas. Their German name when they came to the US was spelled Pieper (it's on some of their legal documents. My great-great grandfather Julius Pieper lived in Illinois (his full name was August Julius Edward Pieper. He had a brother Herman Pieper. They all moved from Illinois to Chase County, KS in the late 1800s. Can someone please get in touch with me about the Pieper family in Illinois? Frankie Valens - ph 316-708-3486.
