Hi, Dana, America Isabelle Piercefield was my maternal grandmother. Only one of her children is still living, and she is my aunt Dorothy Stogsdill. I have tried to track down my grandmother's original family and have had not much luck, except in finding some of her half-brothers' families. My grandmother was left with a family by the name of Frey when she was a small child. I have heard that her mother died, and her father was unable to take care of her. Good luck with your search.
