Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I too, am descended from an Evelyn P- but my ancestor was born in 1755 in New Haven, CT.
There is a Pierpont Family Association that will meet this year in June in Southbury, CT. Our family historian, Bob Kraft, will be there. Here is his web page
http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/rs/rak/kraft.html
If you go to his page and click on Genealogy you will get all sorts of P- information.
If you give me your address I will pass it along to make sure you get an invitation to the P- reunion this year. You might pick up more information there.
