She lived in Merlin, Switzerland and was married to Louis Gosser (not sure of the spelling of his last name). They were said to be from from France (Merlin, if it still exists, is very close to both France and Italy). Their youngest daughter (not sure if she was their youngest _child_) was born about 1869. I'm not sure if she was born in France or Switzerland. Her name was Elizabeth. Another daughter, Marie, died of "apoplexy" before 1885 (when Marie, the mother, brought Elizabeth and two other daughters to the United States to find them husbands after Louis Gosser died). She returned to Switzerland, the other two daughters following shortly thereafter, and no further contact was ever made with the family in Switzerland, as far as I know. The information I have as to Marie Pierre and Louis Gossar's names is from Elizabeth (Gosser) Fay's death certificate, the information being giving by her eldest daughter.
