I know very little about my family, especially on the Pierre side. My grandfather, Walter, is originally from Canada, but I do not know which part. He moved from Canada to Staten Island New York just before meeting my grandmother. I think they used to own and operate a general store in Bridgeport CT. Their children are Margaret, Alice, Mary Jane, Susan, Regina and Walter (my father). My Grandfather Walter had a sister named Harriette in Staten Island New York who used to talk about a cousin Frank (short for Francios, I think).
That is really all I know about the Pierre's. Thank you for the information you sent, I am going to try and track it and see if there is a connection.
