PAITT mailing list from Rootsweb

Hello!

This is just a message to let you know that if you're interested in PIETTE genealogy, you should consider joining the PIATT surname mailing list from Rootsweb.com. There are many many spelling variations out there of what is probably the same name: Piat, Piatt, Piatte, Payat, Peiet, Piet, Pyott, Piott, Pyeatt, Pyeat, and on and on...

But the PIATT list is attempting to unite all of the variations into one resource so that valuable information won't be missed for want of a spelling.

It's free, easy, and we have lots of list members who have been researching PIATTs in all of their spellings for many years.

To join, send an email with only the word
subscribe
to either
PIATT-L-request@rootsweb.com
for mail mode (individual messages sent ASAP); or to
PIATT-D-request@rootsweb.com
for digest mode (messages sent in a bundle after a size or time limit is met). Then, send a message to the list with a breif introduction of yourself and the lines you are searching. Send that to
PIATT-L@rootsweb.com
(all messages need to be posted to -L even if you subscribe in digest mode).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
Thanks, and good luck,
Christine in Chicago
