I am searching for family of E. Martin Pietzsch and Antoinette Rudolph. He was born in Germany, and she in France. Family stories has it that the line was constantly moving and they actually lived very close to each other, as Rudolph is a German name. Have found them in many census records in New York, Manhattan, and his immigration year shows 1858. He was a Grocer. I believe his parents were Ludwig and Carlita Pietzsch. I have them in the 1870 Mass, Berkshire census. We know that E. Martin was known by just that. It is how he was addressed and his legal signature was written as such. In this 1870 Census, there is a child named Martin and the age would be appropriate. Eventually this line bought a vacation resort in the town of North Salem, in Weschester County, NY. Any information would be appreciated.
