Let's try again. My John (Jonathan?) Pifer
was born about 1822 in Baden, Germany. His
wife, Elizabeth ??? was born May, 1824 also in Baden. Their children were Barbara, John, Mary, Maggie and Dorah. They were in Wayne Co. Pa from at least 1870 until John died in 1908. I feel they had other family in Pa since there seem to be a lot of Pifer's but so far have not made a connection.
