My great great grandmother was Lydia Peifer/Pifer, born July 5, 1832 in Northumberland Co., PA and died February 12, 1875 in Richardson County Nebraska. She married David Schlegel/Slagel.

Lydia was one of 12 children of Michael Peifer/Pifer (born 1797, died 1870) and unknown wife; the other children were Issac, Benjamin, Daniel, Sarrah, Sally, Harriet, Polly and four whose names are unknown to me. Michael had a second wife, Barbara Borndner with whom he had five children; Jeremiah, Elias, Henry, Lavina(h) and Eliza.

Michael's father was John Peifer/Pifer/Peiffer, who moved from Berks County, PA to Northumberland County, PA in 1815. Michael had three brothers; John, Peter and Henry.

Would appreciate any information that would help fill in many blanks in this side of my family tree.
