Lancaster, PA Pifer

I have researched back to a Davis Pifer who was born in or around Lancaster in 1800. He then moved to Edinboro, Pa and became one of the first settlers of this area. He died in 1882. If any of you know of early Pifers from Lancaster, or if you could suggest leads, I would appreciate it. My reccords tell me that Davis was born in Pennsylavnia. This would make his father one of the earliest Pifers in Pennsylavnia. The earliest one that I can find is John Jacob Pifer. He came over as an indentured servent and worked in Phildelphia. I cannot find any info on his children however.
