Hello! Wow - I just learned a ton about my family tree. I grew up North Auburn, OH so I can tell you just about anything you want to know about the Pifher's there. My Grandfather was Grover Pifher - he had two brothers - one was Leo and I can't think of the other's name right now. I think his father was Charles but I am not for certain (I will have to ask my dad). I know there is a Charles Pifher buried in the cemetary at North Auburn. Grover and Betty Pifher had 7 Children - Ed, Fritz, Peg, Charlotte, Neil, Steve and Charles. My dad is Charles Pifher. I had always heard that my family came from Alsace-Lorraine but I had never known for sure. I'm also curious to find out exactly which part of the Matthias Pifher family line I am from. If you have more information Noah please let me know!
