HI, I have emailed you several times about Aldridge O Pifer. My husband is Donald Pifer, his great grandfather was George A. Pifer who was and older brother to Aldridge Orlando Pifer. I have lots of things about the Pifer family, as I have been researching them for 9 years. Aldridge O Pifer was born in Illinois, there are there were 4 girls Eliza Jane was the oldest then there was Mary Ellen, Margaret Simelda, and Juliet Amanda who died at the age of 9 or 10 from pneumonia, there were 5 boys James Henry, William Harvey,John Clark Jr, George Anderson. & Aldridge Orlando. I have pictures of all of the boys and one of the oldest sister Eliza Jane. I have copies of from Aldridges bible of his family he put in there it seems he was married 3 times and had three different families. I have Susannah Pifer's bible it has some of the Pifer family history, Susannah Pifer was Aldridges mother. i would be willing to share pictures and information. Contact me at d.pifer@sbcglobal.net.
