There was an Eliza Peifer b. abt 1838 in Northumberland Co., PA. Eliza was the daughter of Michael Peifer and Barbara Bordner. Eliza m. Israel Carl and is found in the 1880 census living in Tower City, Schuylkill Co., PA. They had several children that I know of, John, Daniel, Pricilla, Elmer, William, Alice and Charles.

Does anyone have any information on this William Carl? My Great Grandfather was William Michael Carl, from Tower City, born on September 10, 1870. I am trying to determine if William Carl, son of Eliza and Israel Carl could possibly be my Great Grandfather.
