My mother is a Pigeau and her and her siblings are in the process of getting their Metis status. We've become very interested in the history of the Pigeau family but we're having a hard time finding information on our ancestors. My grandfather's name was Dalton Pigeau, his father was Edmund Pigeau and his grandfather was Urgele Pigeau. As far as I know, they were all from in or around Cache Bay, ON (west of North Bay). Have you ever heard of any of these relatives?
