Druscilla Jane Pigg 1850 Lauderdale AL / Tishomingo MS

Druscilla Jane Pigg, daughter of unknown Pigg, who had to have died between 1848 (when he fathered his last daughter) and 1850, and mother Artelesia.

Druscilla Jane Pigg married William A Carr 27 May 1851 in Lauderdale AL. She has these children with him:
James Carr 1852
Martha Elizabeth Carr 1855
Mary Frances Carr 1858 1938
Artemesia Leesa Carr 1860 1883
Lula Cordelia Carr 1866 1894

In 1860 census the Carr family are in Tishomingo MS. In 1870 Druscilla is widowed, widowed again by a man last name Lewis, and living in Scott Co. Missouri.

In 1850 Druscilla Jane is listed with her mother Artelesia in Lauderdale AL with her siblings:
Ranson Pigg 1830
Martha Pigg 1832
Davis Henderson Pigg 1836 1865
Mary Pigg 1838
Andrew Jackson Pigg 1840
William Pigg 1845
Sarah Pigg 1846
Margarett Pigg 1848 -

I am wondering if these Pigg family might be related to Nimrod Pigg, he seems to be one of the few Pigg men in the area who are the right age to be these people's uncle or grandfather.

They seem to have moved around a bit, based on the children's birth places:

1830 Residence, Tennessee
Oldest child: Ranson is born in TN in 1830. So family is likely there. Martha and Druscilla born here as well.

1838 Residence, Alabama
Mary, Andrew and William are all born in Alabama.

1846 Residence Tennessee
Sarah and Margaret are born in Tennessee.

Anyone have any suggestions on whom the father might be? Any known Pigg men who married a Artelesia/Artemesia/Leesa, she was born in 1812 in NC.

Thanks!
